Report (Basic HTML using notepad)

This is my first time using English to write my own blog. Actually I usually use Chinese to write blog in my other blog. Yeah. My partner is Alex Tan Chai Fu. I have learnt IT knowledge from him. And I am wondering is it all the boys are professional in IT knowledge? Why he so professional in HTML? Actually I have learnt HTML in my secondary school. But! I forgot it already.

I know it is very interesting and difficult to create a webpage for me. First I choose Tan Chai Fu as my partner to complete this assignment. I found that he is very professional in HTML. Although this assignment is requested us to do steps by steps, I still thinking this assignment is difficult for me. My partner told to me it is easy work. So I have more confidence on this assignment.

Before we started doing this assignment, we always have a brief for discussion. We decided “PET +TAN” as our title of webpage. Actually I do not like using “PET” as my name, because my name is PEI. But my partner was explaining to me it is special one. The background color we decided using pink color as our background. And also I do not like pink color. But my partner likes this color.

In addition, we upload our photo from our Friendster (http://www.friendster.com/). We used photos URL and our photos can be posted successfully in this webpage. We type the HTML code into notepad. For example, our title is “IT IS PET+TAN” so the HTML code in notepad is

We upload our webpage to Geocities. My partner teaches me how to upload this webpage to Geocities. Before uploaded, I thought this is difficult work. But when my partner explained to me and I know it is can be easy work. After upload our webpage to Geocities also link to Facebook-CC106.

How to create a own blog? It is very easy for me. Because I have a lot of blog. Just one thing we need have- Email address. For example, http://catherine-peitse.blogspot.com/ and www.wretch.cc/blog/BigHeadDoll. But in this two blog I am using Chinese to blogging. First of all, we must have a email address to register a blog account. It is because when we register a blog we need to verify our email address in mail box. Why we choose blogspot as our blog, because that blogspot is popular. But I found that blogspot is hard to design. And my housemate is Food Science student, and she told me that blogspot need to know about knowledge of Java. I think it is difficult to me.

In conclusion, I have learnt many things in this assignment. For example, I know notepad can be created a webpage. In addition, can be posted to Geocities. And last, thank to my partner, because I have learnt many things from him.
